The Office for Civil Rights (OCR) enforces the Boy Scouts of America Equal Access Act in public schools, LEAs and SEAs that receive Federal funds made available through the Department of Education. The Boy Scouts Act is part of the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 that amended the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965.
